Administration     Ashton United Methodist Church is one of 79 United Methodist Churches in the Central Maryland District, Washington Region, Baltimore-Washington Conference (BWC) of the United Methodist Church. There is a yearly (at minimum) Charge Conference where the decisions affecting the administration of the local Church are made official by a representative of the BWC.     Local administration of AUMC is a joint endeavor by church staff and lay leaders through the efforts of our ministry teams. AUMC's major administrative ministry teams include the Church Council, Finance, Staff-Parish Relations, the Board of Trustees, Lay Leadership, and Preschool. Major program ministries of the church include Missions and Outreach, Education, Evangelism, and Worship. Through the work of our staff and ministry teams, we are able to follow the example of Jesus Christ in service to others.     Office hours are 9:30 am - 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday (except holidays). Pastor Huzzard's office hours are 9:00 am - 12 noon, Monday & Wednesday and 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm, Tuesday & Thursday. Messages for any of the staff can be left at any time via our voice mail system.
