Ashton United Methodist Church supports a very active and far reaching Mission and Outreach program. Our activities include:  
Providing food for the needy from our stock of non-perishable food items in
the Jo Betty Crum Memorial Food Pantry. Providing food service at the Lord's Table in
Rockville and Martha's Table in Washington on a regularly scheduled basis. Assisting with utility bills and rent in emergency
situations. Supporting a broader-based mission project that
aids street children in Rio de Janeiro. Supporting sixteen agencies
in the Baltimore-Washington area that provide services to the disadvantaged. Providing food and gifts for
needy families through the Christmas Adopt-A-Family program. Renovating homes through the Rebuilding Together program. Supporting Volunteer Missions with trips to
various parts of the world. Raising funds for the Montgomery County hunger
drives, CROP Walk, the Church World Service Blanket Appeal, UMCOR, One Great Hour of Sharing, and many more projects.
