We believe in nurturing the faith of our youngest disciples. Each week at Ashton UMC, children are included in worship and invited to participate in an interactive message specifically geared toward them. Following the children's message, children may attend Sunday School or are welcome to stay in the sanctuary, as they are part of the congregation. Throughout the year, children have opportunities to help lead worship, such as singing, reading scripture, or participating in the annual Christmas pageant.

 

Children enjoy fun and fellowship with the congregation at events such as the annual Easter Egg Hunt and Trunk or Treat. During the summer, Ashton UMC's annual VBS welcomes children for a week of high energy faith formation. Mission Camp engages children from second grade through high school in community service. Parents' Night Out events are held throughout the year, an opportunity for parents to drop off their little ones for snacks, games, and movies, while parents enjoy a few hours on their own.

 

Ashton Christian Preschool provides a joyful and nurturing learning experience for children from 2 years old to Pre-K.
